To do this, the Analyst works closely with healthcare providers, IT staff, and other business stakeholders by providing a customer-centric experience. Also acting as a communication hub, this position coordinates the information technology activities for their assigned areas based on user requirements.

This role is 100% onsite in Rockledge, Florida (Melbourne area), and has the potential for hybrid work after a few months, and applicants from outside the area should be open to relocation. Primary Accountabilities Understand user workflows, core functions, and processes of the supported business area which may include inpatient, ancillary, ambulatory, or revenue cycle. Coordinate with clinical end users and apply knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements. Designs, configures, tests, troubleshoots and maintains programs/applications. Apply detailed knowledge of system functionality to implement new applications and modules. Document business requirements, current and future state workflows, and any custom builds as appropriate. Coordinate and participate in all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades. Research and resolve issues with external and internal resources as needed. Provide support during go-live events, including during standard off-hours support times. Lead small and medium-sized projects with minimal managerial oversight. Develop key project management tools, including project plans, issues logs, testing plans, and go-live events. Responsible for ongoing on-call duties for incidents outside of business hours. Participate in cross-training for personal development and to ensure adequate secondary coverage on all applications. Work Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate degree.
Certification:
Epic certified upon hire or within six months of hire.
Work Experience:
Two years in healthcare or one year of experience supporting technology systems. Work Experience in lieu of degree: Four years in healthcare or supporting technology systems. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Strong critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills and professional presence. Ability to maintain composure in stressful office environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Work Experience:
Experience in healthcare, specifically areas in inpatient, ancillary, ambulatory or revenue cycle. Beaker and/or microbiology experience welcome to apply. Certification not required, but welcome.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping. Long periods of computer time or at workstation. Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined. May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
