2600 Westhall Lane, Maitland, FL 32751 The community you’ll be caring for: More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services. AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL operates over 200 offices, providing compassionate, multidisciplinary care to more than one million patients a year. In existence since 1994, AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL has demonstrated consistent growth and stability in an ever-changing health care market. The role you’ll contribute: The Credentialing Specialist assists with the preparation and distribution of initial applications for medical staff and allied health, assists with importing the electronic application into the credentialing database and assists in performing primary source verification. Responsible for follow-up as a result of the Professional Affairs and Quality Committee of the Board (PAQC) which includes but not limited to approval packets, notification to SMH departments, database and directory updates. Tracks annual dues for medical staff and allied health practitioners and assists with duties associated with the medical staff fund. Perform other duties as requested by Medical Staff Manager.
