JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for the development of training materials, training and development schedules, competency exams, and performance scorecards. Trains, re-trains, and educates Patient Access employees are critical to reducing claim denials, thus optimizing revenue.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required. In lieu of degree, the equivalent in training and education experience with a proven success record will be considered is required Two to three years of prior training experience is required. Must have knowledge of computer software, e.g., Word and Excel, as well as Hospital Information/Enterprise systems, i.e., EPIC required. Must possess knowledge of Patient Access, Patient Accounting, HIM, and Epic, and excellent oral and written communication skills required. CPAR Certification is preferred.
