Epic Clinical Project Manage BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Epic Clinical Project Manage in Durham, NC Position Epic Clinical Project Manage (Hybrid)

Location:
Durham, NC Shift Timing:

Mon – Friday 40.00

Hours Per Week Duration:

05 Months with the possibility to extend the contract.

Pay:

$88.00/Hr. on W2 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintaining the scope, schedule, and quality of the project for the Clinical EHR build team.

Setting clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do at each phase of the project.
Working closely with the EHR Program Director and other project managers/team managers to coordinate activities.
Ensuring that the business community is engaged in the project.
Advising and coaching team members by providing guidance on project issues, key success factors of the project, and lessons learned.
Sharing with team members the positive effects of innovation and system capabilities.
Reinforcing the importance of the project together with the EHR program executives and the Program Director, and providing consistent communication to the project team
Organizing resources within the organization
Motivating and showing appreciation for the team
Appropriately matching team member skills to team responsibilities
Managing the project from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks
Assisting as a support contact for revenue cycle.
Identifying and troubleshooting issues.
Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software.
Serving as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic implementation staff
Maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings
Working with Epic representatives, the business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization’s business needs in regard to the project deliverables and timeline.
Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization’s workflows.
Participating in training and working with end users.
Reporting and reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.

Skills:

Certified by Epic in at least one Clinical Inpatient or Ambulatory application.
Experience working on IT projects to deliver and/or enhance Electronic Health Record clinical applications.
Experience working on clinical healthcare information technology projects
Ability to create simple to complex project plans, timelines and work breakdown structures using project management tools (Microsoft Project)
Very strong work ethic and ability to work at a fast pace to meet aggressive mandated timelines
Must have strategic planning skills with good understanding of roadmap development
Capable of leading effective project meetings that are tailored to the audience
Negotiation, written/oral communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to write and present effective project materials, including presentations and status reports
Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, clients and other IT personnel including vendors
Proven experience with working collaboratively with business/program partners
Ability to identify and resolve effectively system or business process/project issues
Ability to build, influence, lead and motivate effective teams towards end results
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work in a high-demand dynamic environment
Strong analytical skills
Experience managing or supervising legacy system replacement projects
Experience planning and managing data conversion activities
Experience building rollout plans
Epic clinical EHR experience
PMP Certification
State Government experience
Ability to assist the state in identifying areas where clinical workflows could be improved..
