Epic Analyst accel bi corporation – 4.5 Raleigh, NC Job Details Full-time $135,000 – $142,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications 5 years Enterprise software IT Budgeting Epic Certification Epic Senior level Requirements gathering Marketing Full Job Description We are seeking Epic Analyst who will serve as the primary Application Coordinator/Analyst responsible for the design, build, testing, and support of Epic modules, specifically Healthy Planet, and ideally Cosmos and Ambulatory. This position is a critical part of the Epic implementation and ongoing support team for a major North Carolina health system. The specialist will engage in technical configuration, workflow optimization, and issue resolution, while ensuring alignment with clinical and business processes. •Candidates need to have Epic Certification in Healthy Planet, Cosmos and Ambulatory•

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary support contact for Epic Healthy Planet and related modules. Configure, script, test, and support Epic applications to meet operational and clinical requirements. Collaborate with end users, clinical leaders, and Epic implementation staff to understand workflow needs and translate them into technical solutions. Perform system build and maintenance tasks, addressing complex interrelated applications. Evaluate hardware/software needs and participate in solution design to support system performance and reliability. Identify and troubleshoot issues in Epic modules, implementing resolutions promptly. Guide design sessions, perform system testing, and coordinate integration with other Epic modules. Participate in regular meetings with Epic representatives, providing status updates and issue tracking. Conduct workflow and gap analysis by attending site visits and integrated build sessions. Maintain detailed documentation and configuration change records. Communicate regularly with leadership to report project status, risks, and upcoming milestones. Lead or participate in weekly team meetings to discuss deliverables, budgets, end-user feedback, and timelines.

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Epic implementation and operations support, with a strong background in Health IT and enterprise system integration. Epic-certified in Healthy Planet Population Health with at least 5 years of experience in configuring and supporting this module. Proven expertise with Epic tools such as Registries, Reporting Workbench, Decision Support Tools, Health Maintenance, and Best Practice Advisories. In-depth knowledge of Epic Care Everywhere, SmartForms, Meaningful Use, Specialty Modules, Procedure Orders, and Epic’s marketing and demonstration capabilities. Hands-on experience integrating Epic with patient and provider outreach tools, including MyChart. Strong understanding of case/care management workflows, wellness programs, and health plan concepts. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects involving timeline management, resource planning, budgeting, and cross-functional team coordination. Extensive experience across the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, workflow analysis, data modeling, technical documentation, and software quality assurance/testing. Skilled in analyzing and developing test plans, identifying data issues, and ensuring system reliability and performance. Familiar with quality reporting initiatives such as PQRS, ACO/MSSP, and Meaningful Use. Strong working knowledge of security protocols, patient privacy regulations, and legal compliance standards in healthcare. Proficiency in conveying technical information clearly to stakeholders and clients, with a proven track record of improving system understanding and user adoption.
