WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Technical Requirements and Certifications »
Certified as Principal Trainer for EpicCare Inpatient – ClinDoc with Secure Chat & Rover, Clinical Case Management, Behavioral Health, & LTC.
Certified Principal Trainer for Willow Inpatient & Willow Ambulatory, Willow Inventory/Supply.
Certified Principal Trainer for EpicCare Ambulatory, Wisdom, EpicCare Link, MyChart Patient Experience Platform, & Healthy Planet.
Certified as Principal Trainer for Cadence Enterprise Scheduling. Prelude Registration, & Grand Central Patient Flow with Transfer Center.
Certified as Principal Trainer for Resolute Hospital Billing & HB Claims & Remittance, Resolute Professional Billing & Claims.
Certified as Principal Trainer for HIM Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information, EMPI, Coding & Abstracting.
Must be certified in the following epic application modules:
Grand Central Curriculum Certification.
Prelude Curriculum Certification.
Cadence Curriculum Certification.
TED105 Training Wheels Behind the Scenes.
TED300 Training Environment Build Certification.
Education and Experience »
Experience as an

Epic-certified Principal Trainer:

5 Years.
Experience performing job shadowing: 3 Years.
Certified in developing Epic training environments.: 3 Years.
Skill and experience in adult education, especially for health information technology or healthcare revenue cycle applications: 3 Years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
Ability to work without close supervision, taking ownership of work activities, & ensuring training sessions & materials meet Epic’s standards.
Demonstrating flexibility with respect to required changes in training content and delivery methods.
The ability to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible.
Demonstrated abiilty to take ownership of work activities &ensure that they are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
Ability to learn new content and leverage that knowledge to develop strong training programs.
Being cooperative and approachable and taking time to listen to and address others’ questions or concerns.
Develops presentations & presents in a clear & interesting manner, commanding the audience’s attention, & handling questions/challenges.: 3 Years.
Ability to read text, identify major points, make inferences, and draw conclusions that accurately reflect the material.
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to trainers and trainees when speaking and writing, adjusting materials to audience: 3 Years.
Has a strong work ethic willingness to put forth extra effort when required, including demonstrating persistence in the face of obstacles/adversity.
