JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides quality customer service to users throughout St. Luke’s Health Network by creating accurate and timely reports from a variety of data sources using report writers and other software as required. Prioritizes and manages multiple requests and projects concurrently. Assists in development, implementation, and improvement of departmental and organizational processes and systems under guidance of Network Director, Clinical Analytics and/or Sr. Analyst. Provides training and ongoing support to users of analytics systems throughout the network. Serves as point of contact for ongoing data submissions to external agencies. Maintains working knowledge of the hospital’s analytics systems as well as source systems as appropriate. Assists in maintaining data integrity in analytics and source systems. Maintains adequate and accessible documentation of processes and reports. Participates in committees and project teams as appropriate, in conjunction with Network Director, Clinical Analytics and/or Sr. Analyst. Functions as integral part of Clinical Analytics team, providing data and other support to team members and assisting in development/improvement of departmental processes. Provides regular status reports to Network Director, Clinical Analytics. Maintains confidentiality of all materials and data at all times, releasing information in accordance with departmental/organizational policies and HIPPA standards. Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements. Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external). Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety. Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices. Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code. Other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.

EDUCATION

Associate or bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Previous report writing and data analysis experience, 2 to 5 years. Knowledge of MS Office, database applications, and report writers (SQL, Databricks, PowerBI, or similar) preferred.
