Women’s Health Clinical Informatics Optimization Specialist 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 4000 Meridian Boulevard, Franklin, TN 37067 Job Summary The Clinical Informatics optimization specialist is a subject matter expert who assists with planning, design, development, testing, end user training, implementation support, and adoption of Electronic Health Records to achieve clinical transformation that results in improved patient care outcomes, end user efficiency and financial outcomes. Essential Functions Support the facility clinical informaticists with both clinical and technical details required to trouble shoot issues Lead/facilitate work-groups charged with defining design options and making design recommendations. Assist manager, clinical informatics and the associate chief medical information officer in translating the optimization initiatives into specific changes in the EHR that are executable. Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and manage and execute change in a complex multi facility environment. Participate in creating test scenarios and conducting user acceptance testing. Develop training materials for end users to assist with deployment of changes, exhibit excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work products, ensure up to date project documentation. Provides reporting assistance and serve as a subject matter expert to the clinical informatics community to facilitate data driven changes to achieve meaningful outcomes. Interact and communicate with physicians, other clinicians and health care executives consistently exhibiting professional behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with internal and external contacts as a professional representative of Community Health Systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 or more years of direct patient care experience.
