Job Description
Lab Manager
- Fulltime Lab ManagerDuties/skills
- Directs, supervises, and coordinates functions and activities in any or all divisions of the Clinical Laboratory
- Is responsible for operating budget, capital budget, and review of monthly financial responsibility reports
- Oversees laboratory computer system and HIS-related issues including, charge numbers, CPT coding, and lab-related patient account problems
- Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions
- Reports to Physician Director of Lab/Hospital CEO-All other duties/skills and qualifications will be discussed at time of interview.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences-ASCP or AMT preferred
- 5 years experience in Clinical Laboratory required
- 3-5 year experience in Supervisor/Manager role required
- Proficient computer skills required.
Salary negotiable depending on training and experience.
