• 5:30pmJob Responsibilities Supervise the day to day operations of the Department/Lab Namedepartment Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and resultsare reported in a timely manner Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel ofthe department Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assaycoverage Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department areproperly staffed Research and resolve any production errors while escalatingwhen necessary Engage in continuous process and service levelimprovements Ensure all equipment is being properly maintained throughQuality Control Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records anddocuments Evaluate new process improvements and make appropriaterecommendations Meet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching andfeedback for their development Perform bench work as needed and maintainproficiency/competency in technical operations Ensure all work is in accordance with state and Federalregulations Responsible for administering and managing policies andprocedures Process and maintain payroll and personnel files Perform administrative duties as needed•Requirements Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science,Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet localregulatory (CLIA & State) requirements•Bachelor’s degree is aplus Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technologist/Technician Previous supervisor/leadership experience is highlypreferred ASCP or AMT certification is preferred Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant stateregulations Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies andprocedures Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and MicrosoftOffice Strong communication skills; both written and verbal High level of attention to detail with strong organizationalskills Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment Ability to handle the physical requirements of the positionIfyou’re looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth,continual development, professional challenge and the chance tomake a real difference, apply today!
