Prepares frozen sections other special staining procedures. Keeps abreast of advancements made in Histology. Processes specimens from geriatric and adult. Reflects the current legal, ethical and professional judgements about the quality of work being performed. Also includes monitoring daily quality control and quality assurance; evaluating laboratory methodologies, protocols and techniques; overseeing care, maintenance, and utilization of department equipment, supplies, and inventories. Prepares department for accrediting agency inspections. Education BSN required
