Job Title:
Lab Supervisor We are seeking a dedicated Lab Supervisor to oversee and manage various laboratory operations, including inventory management, troubleshooting, and vendor communication. This role is integral to the successful functioning of our laboratory, ensuring that all equipment and safety protocols are maintained. Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for laboratory logistics. Lead laboratory management activities, including inventory, equipment management, and laboratory safety. Serve as equipment owner and assist Process Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Lead reorganization of lab space to prepare for future lab scope, including removing outdated equipment and re-classifying equipment to fit laboratory needs. Support management and implementation of electronic lab notebook systems, including developing templates for experiments. Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory management, troubleshooting, and vendor communication. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience in laboratory operations. Proven experience in managing laboratory logistics, equipment, and safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to laboratory equipment. Familiarity with electronic lab notebook systems and laboratory documentation practices. Ability to lead organizational efforts, including lab space optimization and inventory management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
