Expect:

A Typical Day at Work At TN Scientific, every employee is trained and expected to handle all daily operations independently if needed. While you’ll usually work alongside another team member, and occasionally a third, reliability is critical — if one person calls out, the other must be ready and able to keep the lab, fulfillment center, and office running smoothly.

Typical Work Responsibilities:

Preparing and fulfilling orders for government agencies, distributors, individuals, and from our e-commerce platforms (eBay, Amazon, and our website) Printing labels, folding boxes, assembling test kits, and packaging shipments Manufacturing chemical reagents following strict safety protocols (hazmat training provided) Keeping the lab, warehouse, office, and restrooms clean and organized Monitoring inventory and preparing materials for the next day’s operations Handling customer communication via phone, email, and messaging Managing and fulfilling orders across multiple e-commerce platforms Providing regular updates to the owner remotely via text or call Following strict OSHA and chemical safety standards Managing time effectively, including scheduled breaks and task deadlines

Typical Workday Structure:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Fulfillment Days): Employees must arrive no later than 11:30 AM, though arriving earlier is welcome and encouraged. The day begins with opening and responding to customer emails and messages, printing packing slips, and purchasing shipping labels. Orders must be packed, sealed, and ready for carrier pickup by 4:00 PM. After fulfilling orders, employees shift focus to preparation work such as folding boxes, organizing inventory, manufacturing reagents, and assembling large orders for future shipments. Tuesday and Thursday (Preparation Days): Employees start at an agreed-upon time with a more flexible schedule. The day begins with responding to customer communications, followed by preparation tasks: folding boxes, labeling bottles, manufacturing and filling reagents, and prepping drug test kits. Maintaining stock levels for upcoming shipment days remains a top priority. Flexibility, independence, and attention to detail are crucial to success here. We value self-motivated individuals who can stay on task without constant oversight.
