Key Responsibilities:
- + Evaluate specimen acceptability based on established laboratory criteria.
+ Perform routine and complex technical procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance. + Make sound technical decisions regarding testing and troubleshooting as needed. + Prepare, test, and assess new reagents and quality control materials. + Report accurate and timely test results to support clinical decision-making. + Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control checks. + Maintain adequate supply levels at testing benches and reorder as necessary. + Support specimen processing when needed. + Uphold safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:
- + Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent (must meet CLIA and applicable state regulations).
+ 1-2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience required. + State licensure as a Medical Technician may be required (as noted per position). + ASCP or AMT certification preferred or required (as specified per position). _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
