Job Description
Join our Laboratory Team! East Georgia Regional Medical Center is now hiring a full-time Medical Technologist to work in our fast-paced Laboratory. EGRMC offers quality care close to home for generations of families in the Statesboro area and surrounding communities, with 149 private patient rooms and a dedicated health care team of over 800 employees and more than 100 physicians across various specialties. The Hospital is located at 1499 Fair Road, Statesboro, GA.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field (biological or chemical sciences) is
- required
- . Licenses & Certifications
- Eligibility for certification as a Medical Technologist is
- required
•. Completed registration within 12 months.
Acceptable certifying agencies include:
ASCP, AMT or HEW.
- Laboratory training through an accredited laboratory school is _preferred_.
