Job Description
Performs patient specimen analysis for diagnostic purposes, under the direct and indirect supervision of a medical technologist High school graduate or equivalent Associates and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Medical Technology or certified eligible. Student of the preceding studies acceptable on a case-by-case basis. Limitations on duties will be applied. Must be supervised. Certification by a nationally recognized agency as a Medical Technician as a generalist or in a specialty area such as Hematology, Chemistry and/or Blood Bank.
