This position is eligible for a 15%shift differential for 3rd shift.

    • FullTraining Provided Job Responsibilities Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing accordingto established criteria Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functionsaccording to departmental Standard Operating Procedures Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensureproper functionality Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regardingtesting and problem solving Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliverquality patient care Perform and document preventative maintenance and qualitycontrol procedures Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary Assist with processing of specimens when needed Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personalprotective equipment•Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, ClinicalLaboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory(CLIA & State) requirements Previous clinical laboratory testing experience is notrequired ASCP or AMT certification is preferred Ability to work independently and within a teamenvironment Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratoryinformation systems is a plus High level of attention to detail along with strongcommunication and organizational skills Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending onbusiness needs•If you’re looking for a career that offersopportunities for growth, continual development, professionalchallenge and the chance to make a real difference, applytoday!
