• Eighteen months of MedicalLaboratory Technologist / Technician experience required
• A statelicense may be required
• Need to have a basic grasp of scientificlaboratory procedures, including using laboratory equipment andgenerating reports from laboratory tests Benefits

• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to$1,000 Duties Responsibilities The Medical Laboratory Technologistwill spend the bulk of their time testing blood and bodily fluidsby using complex laboratory equipment to ascertain a wide varietyof information.
• Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses orparasites.
• Measure levels of drugs or other chemicals in theblood to help ensure medications are at their most therapeuticlevels.
• Look at the chemical content of the blood to determinedeficiencies in nutrients or excesses of cholesterol or bloodsugars.
• Make use of cell counters, cultures, microscopes andother various types of equipment.
• They must also follow the lab’sprotocol for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results.
