Under the direction of the Director, Transfusion Medicine, the Blood Bank Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of all administrative and technical operations of the transfusion medicine laboratory sections within Main Line Health Laboratories (MLHL). Responsibility includes staffing in individual section. Serves as liaison with other MLH departments and outside clients.

Get Involved! In partnership with other MLHL supervisors is responsible for providing laboratory services to MLH patients, physicians, and staff. Maintains positive, collaborative problem solving relationships with other MLHL management staff, MLHL Medical Director, and other Pathologists. Also maintains effective working relationships with key administrative staff at MLH hospitals.

• 40 hours/week

• LMC and Riddle Hospital Shift:

  Evening

• 1pm-9pm
• Occasional weekend requirement
• on call 1x per month at all 4 sites

Experience:

Must have 5 years experience in related field with 3 years of prior management experience.

Education:

4 Year /

Bachelors Degree Licensures/Certifications:

MT/CT (ASCP) preferred. Job related specialties or graduate degree a plus
