PFT / PULMONARY REHAB TECH

(40 hrs/day)(TFP at Oaks, PA)

• (253249) The PFT/Rehabilitation Technician performs routine pulmonary function testing (Spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength.

Performs routine exercise studies such as O2 titration and 6-minute walk, resting energy expenditure. Performs cardiopulmonary exercise testing. Performs pulmonary rehabilitation diagnostic and therapeutic exercise to others. CPFT

• Cert Pulmonary Function Tech or RPFT
• Reg Pulmonary Function Tech required within 1 year of hire.

Education Associates Degree :

AMA approved school of respiratory care or pulmonary function technology (Required) Experience 1 Year experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or pulmonary function testing (Required) Experience in calibrating equipment, performing quality control procedures, and conducting a clinical exercise test (Preferred) License/Certifications CPFT

• Cert Pulmonary Function Tech (Required) or CRT
• Cert Respiratory Therapist (Required) or RPFT
• Reg Pulmonary Function Tech (Required) or RRT
