Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Provides instructions forNursing Assistant clinical skills and assists to maintain coursedocumentation and related Nursing Assistant program communication.
Contributes to the advancement of the practice of the frontlinenursing staff. What you will do Coordinates education for newemployees, assures timelines meet regulatory standards and facilitypolicy. Retains required documentation for education requirements.
Assures quality standards and testing exceeds Department of Health(DOH) and Board of Nursing (BON) requirements. Completes onboardingwith new employees and follows pre-determined timelines forcompletion of onboarding activities. Assures all staff completeeducation and certification within set timelines to include: LMSeducation, required skilled nursing facility education, assistedliving education, annual certification/license requirements, androle specific education. Provides nursing care in accordance withthe facility policies and procedures within the scope of practiceof the Registered Nurse. Maintains a high level of clinicalcompetency. Acts as a role model to staff. Works closely withleadership and staff to ensure care delivery on floor is accordingto policy and procedure and the expectations of the care deliverysystem. Consults with other units and health care professionals toimprove care. Actively participants in staff transition fromclassroom to clinical setting. Collaborates with others on contentand operational design of orientation, clinical competency andother clinical educational program development. Required Education,License/Certification, or Work Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) -Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice UponHire 2 years of nursing experience at least 1 year of which is inthe provision of long-term care services Expectations and StandardsCommitment to the daily application of Avera’s mission, vision,core values, and social principles to serve patients, theirfamilies, and our community.
