$106,604.71 -$170,567.54 The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a nurse who,through clinical experience, study and supervise practice inpatient care at the masters or doctoral level, has gained expertisein a specific specialty area of patient care services. The CNSdemonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required forspecialty nursing. The CNS is responsible and accountable for thedevelopement and application of specialty practice standards, staffdevelopment, regulatory compliance and research to enhance thequality of care to the patient and the patient’s family. As anadvanced practitioner, the CNS is essential to the management ofcomplex patient and systems related issues.
