Job Summary:

This is a management position responsible for the oversight of quality management and performance.

Essential Functions:

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with HFC customers, departments and managers Manage Quality Management Specialists and organize planned and specialized reviews as required Lead the implementation and initial monitoring efforts related to specialized performance improvement projects Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance/ Quality Improvement program Analyze, assess and distribute case management quality and performance data Develop and maintain annual quality assurance plans Provide presentations and technical assistance on all case management quality areas Use statistical software to collect data, track trends, conduct analysis and develop reports that informs improvement plans Ensure quality management specialists are experts in the system of care and can support an analysis of all operational areas in the systems of care Aid with continuous quality improvement throughout the system of care, to include the ability to provide qualitative supports to additional external partners when necessary Participate in weekly Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) Committee meetings Coordinate with other HFC departments, case management organizations, and DCF as necessary Assist with COA accreditation process as designated Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Work, Human Services or related. Two to five years experience in the child welfare field.

Qualifications Preferred:

Experience performing Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement functions in the child welfare or human services field preferred
