The Cytotechnologist Responsibilities:

+ Evaluates and diagnosis Non-GYN cases for Pathologist review + Evaluates and diagnosis GYN cases. + Performs Rapid On-Site Evaluations for FNA procedures including CT-Guided and US-Guided procedures. + Knowledge of multiple Cytology Reporting Systems. + Excellent inter

• and intra-departmental communications skills. + Maintains equipment, supplies, and instrumentation. + Ability to assist in the Cytopreparatory lab, as needed. + Works independently and in a team. + Demonstrate organizational, time management, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. + Use computer skills appropriate to position. + Needs to understand medical terminology.

• Requirements:

• + ASCP Certified Technologist in Cytology + State of Florida License Clinical Laboratory Personnel
• Cytotechnologist + Bachelor’s in related field + Bachelor’s requirement can be waived if certified prior to 1985 + Preferred
• 2 years Cytology experience. + Hospital experience not required, training available
