Microscopically screens, assesses and reports negative gynecologic (Pap smear) findings to referring physicians. Locates pertinent cellular findings on glass slides. Prepares diagnostic assessments on reactive/reparative and abnormal gynecologic and all non-gynecologic specimens for pathologists’ review. Assists with the bedside collection and immediate specimen adequacy determinations of fine needle aspiration samples. Participates in quality control and quality assurance measures in accordance with regulatory agencies. Additional Job Description Education:

Bachelor of Science degree, CT education from a CAHEA accredited school of Cytotechnology. Three or more years full-time experience as a cytotechnologist within the previous ten years.
