Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Assist with dental coding and documentation
- Utilize 3D software for dental prosthetics
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis systems
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficient in dental coding and documentation
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Familiarity with 3D software for dental prosthetics is a plus
- Experience using Dentrix and Dexis systems is a plus but not required We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant.
