Job Description:

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant at Southern Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental hygienists and ensuring efficient and effective patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting dental hygienists during dental procedures, including cleanings and examinations Taking dental X-rays Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments and equipment Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction

Qualifications:

Certification or training in dental assisting from an accredited program Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
