The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilize a 3D scanner for capturing accurate impressions of patients’ teeth. Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments and ensuring timely follow-ups. Provide education to patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Assist with medical coding for insurance claims and billing purposes as required. Skills Experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred. Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic for patient management. Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients. Strong ability to assist during various dental procedures while maintaining focus on patient comfort. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
