Orthodontic Assistant Durham Orthodontics Madison, AL 35758 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our Family! This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with patients of all ages! As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will assist in various procedures, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment. We see patients in the office Monday-Thursday. Pay range will depend on experience and personality! There is always room to grow in our practice! Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during clinical procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Take and develop medical imaging as required for patient assessments. Utilize 3D scanners for accurate impressions and treatment planning. Document patient information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide education and support to patients regarding treatment plans and oral hygiene practices. Manage patient records using Tops software. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and patient satisfaction. Skills Experienced Orthodontic Assistant. Experience with 3D scanning technology is highly desirable. Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of patient care.
