Duties:

Assist the doctor with orthodontic procedures, change O-rings, pour models, construct trays and charting as necessary. Take and develop x-rays. Review schedules and help maintain patient flow throughout the day. Review patient charts prior to arrival and anticipate the needs for each patient. Set-up and prepare dental equipment and instruments as established by regulations and guidelines. Perform procedures set forth to help maintain the schedule and patient flow. Provide excellent customer service to help ensure a smooth and comfortable visit for the patient. Disassemble and clean patient room after treatment. Clean and sterilize instruments. Abide by confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patients’ records and office materials, OSHA and company safety policies and procedures. Make sure treatment areas are fully stocked. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
