We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our fun and dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting orthodontists during procedures and ensuring a positive experience for patients. This position requires a strong understanding of orthodontic practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. X-rays and records, adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Maintain accurate dental records, including patient history and treatment plans, using software such as Dolphin Management. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment. Experience Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dolphin Management is highly desirable but not necessary.
