Candidates must have completed an accredited dental assisting program and must be DANB or UConn Radiology and Infection Control certified. Applicants without these qualifications should not apply.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Displays a working knowledge of dental terminology and procedureCan clearly explain dental problems and dental procedures to patients. Is proficient in basic skills and expanded duties consistent with state regulations. During specific procedures, knows the proper timing and sequence of instruments and materials. Can anticipate the dentist’s needs. Takes diagnostic quality images. To be considered for the position, candidates must include certifications when applying for the position. The set hours for this position are as follows: Monday 12pm-6pm Tuesday 12pm-6pm Wednesday 12pm-6pm Thursday 12pm-6pm Friday 7am-1pm Please do not apply for the position if you are not able to work these hours. These hours are not negotiable.
