Certified Dental Assistant Position Available In Alachua, Florida

Certified Dental Assistant Gator Dental 6605 SE 221st Street, Hawthorne, FL 32640 We are looking for a full time dental assistant to join our private practice in Hawthorne, FL. Familiarity with digital scanners and Eaglesoft is a plus. Our hours are Mon-Thurs 8-5pm with a dedicated lunch hour 12-1pm Benefits we offer:

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take digital dental x-rays
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Skills:

• At least 1 year experience preferred with certifications in X-ray and EFDA
• Proficient in dental documentation systems (Eaglesoft is a plus)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
• Strong understanding of infection control procedures
• Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology
• Ability to take accurate dental impressions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
