Dental Assistant Smile Everyday Dentistry 7500 NW 5th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317 We are looking for a friendly, experienced dental assistant to join our multi specialty team! If you are well-organized, detail oriented, with good communication skills we may be what you are looking for! This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for a long term career in the dental field. Our patients are considered the core of everything we do and the reason for our practice. Responsibilities but are not limited to; Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed Take high quality digital dental radiographs Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials Perform patient charting as instructed by the doctor Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room Assist the doctor with either Pediatric/General/Orthodontic treatment procedures. Prepare and set up treatment rooms for procedures Record patients’ medical and dental histories The ability to multitask without sacrificing the quality of their work.
