The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals while ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control standards. Take and record vital signs of patients as needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records. Utilize dental systems and software, including Eaglesoft, for scheduling and patient management. Support pediatric patients with care and comfort during their visits. Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes as required. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices. Perform endodontic procedures under the supervision of the dentist when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology and infection control practices is essential. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in taking vital signs and maintaining medical documentation. Experience with endodontics is advantageous. Ability to operate 3D scanners and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is desirable. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Certification as a Dental Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
