Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with general and cosmetic procedures (implants, veneers, root canals, etc.) Sterilize and prepare operatories Support lab cases, temporaries, and post-op care Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take dental radiographs as needed. Utilize 3D scanner (iTero Lumina) for accurate imaging and modeling. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, while adhering to confidentiality regulations. Provide patient education on procedures and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office. Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and managing inventory of dental supplies. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; however, entry-level candidates with relevant training will be considered. Familiarity with prosthodontics procedures is a plus. Experience with dental coding is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
