We are seeking a talented and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team and play a key role in providing high-quality dental care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, and bridges. Take X-rays accurately. Perform coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Take impressions and fabricate temporary restorations. Provide patient education and comfort before, during, and after procedures. Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Manage dental materials and ensure proper inventory levels. Support front office with scheduling and patient communication as needed.
Requirements:
Valid EFDA certification . Proven experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
