The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist during procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental clinic operations, proficiency in four-handed dentistry, and familiarity with various dental technologies. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Take X-rays and perform medical imaging as required for patient assessments. Utilize a 3D scanner for capturing precise dental impressions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Support the orthodontic team in various administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is essential. Proficient in dental assisting practices, including taking X-rays and using medical imaging tools. Familiarity with prosthodontics is a plus. Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
