Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines. Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with dental/ortho team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Qualifications Proven experience in dental assisting within a pediatric setting Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy Familiarity with 3D scanning technology and medical imaging Knowledge of EMR systems, particularly Open Dental is a plus Understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Ability to perform chairside assisting Experience with X-Ray procedures
