Must be a team player.

• Duties
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging software
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures using four handed dentistry
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records using OpenDental software
• Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant (preferred)
• Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Familiarity with taking vital signs and patient assessment
• Experience with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge with computer skills We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, be knowledgeable in dental anatomy, and possess excellent communication skills. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, providing chairside assistance, educating patients on oral hygiene, and performing dental receptionist duties.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Current CPR certification
• Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred but not required
