The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas of dentistry, including general dentistry, and will be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and assisting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment. Collaborate with the dental team to improve office systems and enhance patient experiences. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Knowledge of infection control practices and procedures. Familiarity with dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft, is a plus. Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
