The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories, including vital signs. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications. Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs, ensuring a comfortable experience. Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and appointments. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is essential. Familiarity with general dentistry practices, including infection control measures. Experience with X-ray technology is advantageous. Ability to take vital signs accurately.
