Dental Assistant RP Dental & Implants Lady Lake, FL 32159 “`Duties“`

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Perform dental charting and recordkeeping
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
• Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed “`Experience“`
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
• Proficiency in Dentrix software for appointment scheduling and recordkeeping
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment
• Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and techniques
• Familiarity with anatomy and oral health terminology
• Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
