Dental Assistant Position Available In Lake, Florida

Dental Assistant Village Endodontics Lady Lake, FL 32159 Applicants must present time management skills, organization skills, as well as the ability to multitask. Some dental knowledge and being familiar with sterile techniques/OSHA standards are a plus but not required.

Dental Assistant Job Duties:

Provide chairside assistance to endodontists for numerous dental procedures. Prepares treatment room for patient by following procedures and protocols including proper sterilization of room and instruments. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient. Documents dental care services by charting in electronic patient records and sending reports to referring doctors. Assists in dental and medical emergencies and maintains CPR certification. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and following HIPPA guidelines. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; and communicating needs; and verify receipt of supplies. Answer telephones and schedule appointments when needed
