Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Preparing operatories and patients for dental work. Helping with infection control by sterilizing operatories, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with all dental procedures. Assisting our dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Provide outstanding patient care. Recording treatment information in our dental software. Taking dental x-rays and taking care of our dental x-ray equipment. Educating patients on dental needs Collecting and inputting medical and dental histories. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Caring for all dental equipment. Take dental impressions and occlusal registrations. Ability to work in the high demand environment Take and expose dental diagnostic x-rays. Record treatment information in patient digital chart. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist. Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies. Pour, trim, and polish study casts. Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs. Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Clean and polish removable appliances. PAY will be based on experience and knowledge of procedures.
