  • English Job Description Overview Dental Assistant Tallahassee Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Tallahassee, FL is looking for a dedicated, experienced, enthusiastic, courteous, compassionate, full-time dental assistant for our busy dental prectice.

You will help with preparing patient for consultations and surgeries, sterilizing instruments, setting up rooms & explaining patient’s treatment plans. To do well in this role you should have a dental x-ray certification and provide a great level of patient care.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

Preparing patients for dental work. Helping with infection contral by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays, preparing materials & assisting in dental procedures. Assisting dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Providing great patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Caring for dental equipment. Dental Assistant Requirements Certification or associate degree in accredited dental assisting program Current CPR or BLS certification High school diploma or equivalent Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Consistently professional apperance and attitude. Able to provide great patient care. Additional Compensation
