Job Description
Dental Assistant 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 382 SW Mci Way, Madison, FL 32340 The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
Essential Duties:
Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory Operating radiographic equipment Administrative tasks as needed
Hours:
Monday-Thursday; 6am-4:30pm High school diploma or GED equivalent required Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant required Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employment Florida Radiograph Certificate, or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employment Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred, or willing to obtain one upon hire Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hire Ability to pass a security clearance, to include drug screen and complete criminal background check
