Orthodontics Assistant Stewart Family Orthodontics 4315 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211 Stewart Family Orthodontics is looking for a talented orthodontic assistant to join our team. Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients to the practice with a friendly and professional demeanor. Escort patients to treatment areas and help them get settled in dental chairs. Assist orthodontists during procedures by handing them instruments and materials. Take and develop dental x-rays and photographs. Sterilize and prepare instruments for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Take and record patients’ medical and dental histories accurately. Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and answer any questions they may have. Schedule appointments and manage the orthodontist’s calendar effectively. On-call assisting on rotation for the weekend Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy. Assist with laboratory work, including pouring and trimming study casts and fabricating orthodontic appliances. Stay updated on orthodontic procedures, techniques, and technologies through continuing education.
