We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced surgical setting, values teamwork, and wants to grow professionally. This position requires flexibility to assist with both clinical and administrative/front desk duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting the dental team chairside as well as helping with tasks such as scheduling, answering phones, verifying insurance, and patient check-in/check-out. Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude. High level of integrity and professionalism. Duties Assist the Oral Surgeon during examinations and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging equipment. Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix and Fuse, documenting treatment plans and patient history. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Manage/Confirm appointment scheduling and patient flow. Perform basic laboratory tasks, including impressions for endodontics and other restorative procedures. Work with pediatric dentistry patients, providing a comforting environment for children during their visits. Ensuring implants and surgical materials are stocked and ready. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential for success in this role. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of Dentrix software and other dental systems will be considered an asset. Proficiency in taking vital signs is beneficial for monitoring patient health during visits. A background in pediatric dentistry or endodontics will enhance your candidacy.
