The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up care. Utilize dental technology such as 3D scanners for imaging purposes. Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures to ensure patient safety. Support pediatric patients by creating a comfortable atmosphere during visits. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential for effective communication with the dental team and patients. Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus.
